When Does The 2020 Mazda CX-30 Arrive In Canada?
November 29 2019, Centennial Mazda
The first ever Mazda CX-30 was unveiled at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show last March in Switzerland. The 2020 CX-30's North American debut took place in Los Angeles in November.
So, when does it go on sale in Canada?
Centennial Mazda in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, expects the first few 2020 Mazda CX-30s to land at the dealer on or around February 1, 2020.
Every CX-30, whether in GX or GS or GT trim, will come equipped with a 186-horsepower, 2.5-liter engine; a 6-speed automatic will be the only transmission. i-ACTIV all-wheel drive is optional on the GX and GS; standard on the GT.
Official fuel economy figures aren't yet available, but expect the CX-30's consumption to be typical for Mazda: quite thrifty. The all-wheel-drive CX-5 is rated at 8.2 L/100km on the highway; the all-wheel-drive CX-3 is rated at 7.4 L/100km. More likely than not, the CX-30 will land somewhere in between.
